Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 25, 2026. Your creativity is personal, and so is your data.
1. Our Privacy Commitment
At AR Drawing, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a safe creative environment. Unlike many other applications, we operate on a "Privacy by Design" principle. We believe that your artistic process belongs to you, and we have built our technology to ensure your data stays where it belongs—on your device.
2. Camera & Real-Time Processing
To provide the Augmented Reality (AR) experience, our application requires access to your device's camera.
- No Recording: The camera feed is used exclusively for real-time image overlay. We do not record, save, or transmit any video or photo data from your camera.
- Local Processing: All AR calculations and image processing happen directly on your CPU/GPU. Your camera feed never leaves your device and never touches our servers.
3. Local Data & Image Storage
When you import an image to trace, it is handled with maximum security:
- Browser Storage: Your imported images are stored in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB/LocalStorage). This allows you to continue your work without re-uploading, but it means the data stays private to your specific browser.
- Zero Server Access: We have no access to the images you choose to draw. We do not maintain a database of your creative assets.
4. Information We May Collect
We only collect the bare minimum required to provide and improve the service:
- Usage Analytics: We use anonymous analytics to understand which features are most popular. This data is aggregated and does not contain any personally identifiable information.
- User Feedback: If you choose to contact us or provide feedback, we will store your email address and message solely to respond to your request.
5. Data Security & Third Parties
Your personal information is never sold, traded, or shared with outside parties for marketing or commercial purposes. We use industry-standard encryption for any data that is transmitted (such as feedback forms) and prioritize local-first architecture to minimize security risks.
6. Your Rights
You have full control over your data. You can clear your browser's cache at any time to remove all locally stored images. If you have provided us with any personal information via feedback, you may request its deletion at any time.
